To inspire future creators in the video game industry and encourage diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM), the ESA Foundation established a scholarship fund providing support for women and minority students.
The ESA Foundation Computer and Video Game Arts and Sciences Scholarship
Established in 2007, the ESA Foundation’s Computer and Video Game Arts and Sciences Scholarship has been awarded to nearly 400 women and minority students across the country, enabling them to follow their dream of earning video game-related degrees. Aside from providing students with much-needed funding, the scholarship offers non-monetary opportunities, including networking and mentoring sessions and access to major industry events, like the Game Developers Conference and E3.
