Annual “Nite to Unite – For Kids” Honoring Robbie Bach Almost Sold Out

Proceeds Support Programs to Improve the Lives of America's Youth; Live Auction to Include 2011 NCAA Final Four Package

October 12, 2010 – WASHINGTON, DC – The 13th annual "Nite to Unite – For Kids" on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco is close to being sold out. The ESA Foundation, organizer of the annual industry-wide charity event, today encouraged those still wishing to attend to purchase their tickets. The proceeds from the dinner, auction, and charity casino night will go toward grants and scholarships that improve the lives of American youth.

A "Nite to Unite – For Kids" supports the ESA Foundation's critical work in supporting educational technologies and opportunities to develop the next generation of industry leaders. Included in the evening are silent and live auctions. This year, among other items, organizers will auction an NCAA Final Four package, including two tickets to the semi-final games, two tickets to the final game, access to two NCAA parties, airfare and accommodations for three nights.

The 2010 dinner will honor Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft Corporation's Entertainment & Devices Division. Mr. Bach, who will retire this fall after 22 years at Microsoft, will be recognized for his steadfast commitment to education and improving the lives of America's children.

The co-chairs for the 2010 event are Reggie Fils-Aime, president and CEO of Nintendo of America, Inc.; John Riccitiello, CEO of Electronic Arts; and Jack Tretton, president and CEO of Sony Computer Ent. America.

The event is open to both individuals and companies. Tickets are $750 for individuals, and table sponsorships are available. To register or for more information, visit or contact Leslie Price at 800-949-3660.

The ESA Foundation was created by the American entertainment software industry to provide opportunities that can make a difference in the lives of America's youth. The Foundation is fully supported by proceeds from their limited edition charity game pack's sales and "Nite to Unite – For Kids," its annual fund-raiser, which has raised more than $11 million in the last 12 years.
